A. You're just looking at a list of recently opened filenames, it holds nothing more than the names. Unlike iPhoto, or iTunes, GB is not a database, like most other apps, it just loads and displays files, it doesn't store or manage them.

You delete GarageBand Project files...


just like you delete any other file on your Mac, you find the Project File in Finder and drag it to the trash. And if you want to clear the Open Recent menu, choose the (rather cleverly named) Clear Menu sub-menuItem from the Open Recent menuItem.
