Q. Can I export my GarageBand project as an uncompressed AIFF file instead of an AAC file?

A. Hide the Podcast Track (via the Track Menu) and the project will export as a 44.1K/16-bit uncompressed AIFF file.
In addition to making sure there is no Podcast track showing in GarageBand versions through 6 ('11), make sure the "Compress" CheckBox is not ticked in the GarageBand '08 (And Later) Share dialogBox. NOTE: GarageBand version 10 does not offer a Podcasting option, so there's nothing to hide in GBv10.
