Q. After installing Logic, my Garaband loops vanished, how do i get them back?

A. You need to re-install the GarageBand Loops from its install DVD, it should be on one of the discs that came with the computer, likely labeled: Software Restore, or Additional Software, or some such, if not an iLife disc itself. It may also simply be an installer on one of the restore discs called "Additional Software" or something similar. When the installer reaches the "Installation Type" dialog, click the Customize button and enable the "GarageBand Additional Instruments and Loops" option.
(Yes, several discs DID come with your computer. No they are not CDs, they are DVDs, and yes, if you lost them you will have to go out and Buy the iLife software, neither I, nor Apple lost them)
